B.Sc. in Computer Science
The School of Computer Science (SCS) at Reykjavik University collaborates actively with international unversities and institutions, both in teaching and research. Moreover, SCS collaborates with the local industry, e.g. in the form of final projects. Thus, students from our program are well prepared for work in industry or further study in graduate programs.
Computer scientists can choose from various work options as their field overlaps with a range of other subjects, such as mathematics, psychology, engineering, bioinformatics, business administration, etc. Computer scientists are therefore likely to work with specialists from a variety of different fields.
Graduates with a computer science degree are highly sought after professionals. Knowledge and skill in information technology and mathematics is the basis for economic growth and competiveness. The aim of SCS is to offer students a reliable study program in these fields.
