Paid Work

Students can register at RU's Career Services to be contacted when RU needs employees for temporary work. Jobs available within RU will also be advertised on the Web site of Career Services and in e-mails sent out to students. The jobs may be summer jobs or temporary jobs in the winter time. Students who are hired sign a work agreement and a confidentiality agreement. Students hired to do paid work for RU should as a general rule have an average grade of 7,0 or higher.

Examples of paid work within RU which students may be hired to do:

• Assignments connected to the research work of teachers
• Office work
• Assistance in preparing promotional material in the Marketing Department
• Customer service in the RU Library
• Assistance in preparing various events within RU
• Assignments connected to tendance of RU buildings, gardening, or house-cleaning
• Planning of entertainment or taking of photographs during special events
